Photographing weddings is one the great joys of my life. I love documenting every part of the special day, from the pivotal moment when the mother is awed by the bride’s gown, to the quiet and eager pacing back and forth before the initial steps down the aisle, to the exchange of the fateful two words “I do”.
I have photographed a spectrum of weddings, from a traditional ceremony in a towering East Coast church, to a joyous outdoor celebration on a Brazilian beach, to the intimacy of a small family gathering at City Hall. I have an affection for travel and am excited by the opportunity to photograph weddings around the world.
I thrive in celebratory environments and revel in observing friends and family come together and toast to love. I prioritize making my presence comfortable and calming, especially taking note of those who may not always enjoy being front of a camera. I apply a documentary approach to my photography and strive to capture the breaths in between the momentous occasion.
My dedication to photography was born from chronicling the lives of my beloved friends, and my tenderness for capturing pictures of people and making them feel valued has remained constant since the genesis of my career.
